Dr. Christian Furbo Reeder
Linnæues University
Christian Furbo Reeder is a Postdoctoral researcher at Linnaeus University (LNU) in Sweden. He combines molecular biology and bioinformatic tools to explore marine microorganisms. His research focuses on the interplay between primary producers, nitrogen fixation, and particle dynamics in aquatic ecosystems. He obtained a PhD at Southern University of Denmark where he explored microbes fixing nitrogen in oxygen minimum zones, followed as a postdoctoral researcher at Aix-Marseille university in France where he focused his research of nitrogen fixing microbes attached to particles in the North Pacific Gyre.
