I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Exeter, working with Bob Brewin on a UKRI-funded project investigating how marine phytoplankton respond to climate change. My focus is on understanding the distinct responses of surface and subsurface phytoplankton using conceptual models, long-term time series data and BGC-Argo floats. I’m also interested in the relationships between phytoplankton and micronutrients, as well as exploring low-cost ocean sensors to enhance ocean observations and literacy. My aim is to deepen our understanding of the complex biology of phytoplankton using diverse data sources from different platforms.
