Paula Huber is a microbial ecologist specializing in aquatic microbiomes across marine and freshwater ecosystems. Her research focuses on linking microbiome diversity with functional capacities and ecological roles, using meta-omics techniques, flow cytometry, and microscopy. She earned her PhD in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from the Universidad de San Martin, Argentina, and conducted postdoctoral research at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, as part of the AtlantECO project. She now works as an Assistant Researcher at the Argentina Research Council (CONICET) at the National Institute of Limnology (INALI) in Santa Fe, Argentina. Dr. Huber is committed to advancing education, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and engaging with the community to promote scientific awareness.
