Dr. Anabel von Jackowski

Dr. Anabel von Jackowski is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholm University. She obtained her MSc in Marine Microbiology from the University of Bremen and her PhD from the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel, affiliated with the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel. Anabel applies a broad range of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-IRMS) and microbiological approaches (metabarcoding and metagenomics) to investigate the organic matter-microbe interactions and methane emissions from subsea permafrost in the Arctic Ocean.
